Charles Tourtellotte is Founder and CEO of LaTerra Development. LaTerra is a real estate investment and development company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, with project investments located in SoCal and select geographic Sunbelt markets.
Prior to LaTerra, Mr. Tourtellotte formed and operated a single-family homebuilding company where he developed and constructed single-family home communities in Southern California.
Mr. Tourtellotte’s real estate career began by acquiring and managing over 200 single family homes while attending the University of Denver. Subsequently, Mr. Tourtellotte managed Western U.S. acquisitions for real estate investment manager, Robert McNeill Corporation. He later served as SVP of fund manager, Consolidated Capital, where together with his team, acquired more than 12,000 multifamily units and 10,000,000 square feet of commercial and industrial properties in major markets throughout the U.S.
Mr. Tourtellotte founded Metro Golf (MGLF) which he took public as a NASDAQ listed IPO. He has been featured on the Today Show, CNN/FN, The New York Times, The L.A.Times, and multiple real estate publications.
