Marcie is an internationally recognized leader in marrying the often conflicting sciences of cultural anthropology and business strategy. She has spent 25 years working with C-suites and business leaders across industries, helping them anticipate disruption and propel growth through understanding societal change and implementing human-centric strategies. Her passion lies in connecting the dots between human needs, market influences and business requirements to both unlock opportunities and mitigate risk for the future of employees, consumers and citizens.

Within EY, Marcie leads the Generational Dynamics practice focused on helping organizations understand the nuances of human behaviors, societal shifts and the organizational implications that can be addressed through improved experiences. Prior to joining EY, Marcie was an executive with both L Brands and Toys R Us, as well as a successful entrepreneur: first, as a partner in global retail design firm, Big Red Rooster (acquired by JLL), then as founder of experience strategy firm, PrimalGrowth (acquired by EY).

Marcie holds an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, with a focus on marketing strategy. She earned a BA in Social Sciences from Michigan State University, where she focused her studies on anthropology, sociology and Asian studies. She also completed Harvard Business School’s Board of Director Program and is a member of WomenExecs on Boards.

Her work has been featured on CNBC, BBC and Bloomberg, and in publications, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes. She is also a frequent keynote speaker at top global forums, including Aspen Ideas Festival, Dubai’s Global Islamic Economic Summit, and Forbes’ CMO Summit. She was named to the Top 25 Consultants of 2019 list by Consulting Magazine, recognized for Excellence in Leadership.
