Ryan Holgan, Executive Director, is a member of the Southeast Investment Team of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Real Estate Americas platform. He joined the firm in 2010 and has had numerous roles within the Real Estate Americas platform over the years. He is currently responsible for overseeing new investment efforts in the State of Florida. In this role, Ryan actively sources and invests in existing and ground-up development projects within the residential, office, industrial, and retail sectors. He is responsible for helping to set the overall investment strategy for the Platform’s Florida portfolio, which includes helping to asset manage existing assets, generating in-house views/research, identifying trends and opportunities within the space, and effectively close on investment opportunities. He was previously on the Northeast Investment Team, where he held acquisitions and asset management responsibilities in the New England region. On the Northeast Investment Team, Ryan oversaw the investment strategy for a multi-billion dollar portfolio of institutional real estate equity investments across residential, office, industrial, and mixed-use sectors. Prior to that, Ryan worked on an asset allocation team, where he worked with investors and their consultants to design real estate and other real assets portfolios customized to their specific objectives and preferences. In this role, Ryan was responsible for strategic portfolio construction, custom analytics and portfolio modeling, marketing, and research. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in finance from Loyola University of Maryland, and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 2017, with a concentration in Real Estate Finance. Ryan is a CFA charterholder and is a member of several industry organizations including NPA, IPMI, PREA, ULI, the CFA Institute, NYSSA, and others.
